About the role

Customer Crunch has recently developed a product designed to transform the way business define, design and monitor their strategic investments in relation to data and customer. The product is unique in the market and requires a progressive social media strategy to build an engaging connection with the community.

We are looking for an experienced and creative social media specialist who has a variety of interdisciplinary skills to join our team. Someone who is responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts by communicating our value proposition to the market.

As a social media specialist, you’ll help ensure the highest performance of all our social platforms and website, from advertising and promotions to brand awareness and engagement. Duties will include designing a social media strategy that aligns to our go-to-market and brand proposition, analysing data across platforms, creating/designing content, running advertisements, managing campaigns and coordinating with marketing agencies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design, implement and manage our social media strategy (design, creation, deployment and optimisation)

  • Expand our companies’ brand halo

  • Content creation, vetting and design to build up brand awareness using our multiple social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Google)

  • Define and track social media KPI's and report to leaders on performance

  • Manage and oversee social media content

  • Measure the success of every social media campaign

  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Canva, Talkwalker, Feedly, Edgar, Social Clout

  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimisation (Google Analytics)

  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

  • Monitor and maintenance of the company’s content management system and website

  • Work with marketing agencies and leaders to promote key Customer Crunch events

  • Social media superstar – Proven results in building and engaging a community, and social media advertising strategies for multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google

  • Proven marketing skills including Social Media performance, Content Creation experience, Creativity, Passion and organisational skills

  • A deep understanding of social media metrics, trends and social products / tools

  • Writer – An amazing writer with excellent storytelling skills to educate people about our brand

  • Creative – An eye for good design, and a generator of new and interesting concepts

  • Strong communication, time management and analytical skills

  • A creative mind and an innovative approach to developing social media content and campaigns

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions

  • Extensive digital marketing and communications experience

  • Good knowledge and experience of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of LinkedIn (ad campaign design & execution)

  • Excellent knowledge of SEO/SEM, keyword research and Google Analytics

  • Google Analytics & Advertising – experienced in placing and analysing ad performance

  • Good knowledge of social media KPI's

  • Familiarity with web design and publishing

  • Excellent multitasking skills

  • Experience using CRMs for marketing such as Salesforce, Adobe, Teamwork

  • Experience in designing and implementing multi-channel campaigns

  • Demonstrated experience with content management systems in the delivery and maintenance of websites

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies

  • Degree in a relevant field of study such as Communications (Digital and Social Media) or Marketing or equivalent experience
