We’re looking for a customer strategy director: an energetic self-starter who knows their way around customer intelligence and analytics and who has a passion for building relationships with key commercial prospects. This is a new role for which we need someone who can unlock opportunities for solving customer problems and clearly articulate, in commercial terms, a course of action that can help solve these challenges.

Mapping out an ecosystem of potential clients and designing a communication strategy to convert them from unengaged prospects to commercial partners.
Converting warm leads that have responded to our online solution offerings.
Being the face of Customer Crunch, representing our values and always seeking to secure a win for the client.
Seeking opportunities to grow and expand Customer Crunch’s offerings and commercial potential.
Developing proposals and communication material for senior clients.
Working in partnership with subject matter experts and clients to develop business strategies and roadmaps.
Squeezing data to uncover the truth and present the story behind the numbers in a way that aligns to the client’s values and commercial strategy.
Being a team player, always being eager to learn about innovation in data science and technology, and working effectively with other ambitious data science consultants.
The successful candidate for this role could be a seasoned sales or business development professional from a technical, financial or scientific background, or someone with technical credentials whose latter career has seen them move into more commercial leadership roles. Either way, you’ll need to share our values and commitment to inspire our clients and help them see beyond their business problems to their true strengths and future potential.
Equally comfortable presenting to a group of client stakeholders at board level or locked away getting your head around a thorny technical challenge.
An accomplished networker but also equally passionate about solution design and problem solving.
A winning mentality, with the self-motivation and determination to initiate cold calls to prospects, chase leads, follow-up, and close deals.
Able to engagingly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
A sales, growth and strategic mindset with excellent business acumen and relentless curiosity.
Able to influence and persuade via excellent written and oral communication skills.
Appreciation and understanding of analytics, design thinking, data science, data visualisation and data engineering.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Business, Commerce, Data Science, Statistics).
An impressive track record in sales and account management and experience collaborating with senior stakeholders.
Experience in developing business strategy, analytics roadmaps and advanced customer programs.
